PolyWAAM is a fully automated Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) cell presented by Polycontrols for large-scale metal part production and industrial repair. The company will present the new cell at ITSC 2026 in Bangkok.
Housed in a sound-insulated enclosure, the system is designed to maintain a stable arc to support consistent bead quality, low heat input, and reliable operation. The installation is intended to enable cost-effective manufacturing of oversized components, fast turnaround for critical parts, and material savings compared with powder-based AM processes or conventional manufacturing. Integrated monitoring supports traceability and controlled deposition.
Polycontrols also operates PolyCSAM, an industrial-scale cold-spray hybrid additive manufacturing platform integrating surface preparation, material deposition, in-situ robotic machining/surface finishing, and data-driven process control, with stated part dimensions up to 8 m. Depending on requirements, PolyWAAM can be used as an on-demand service at the provider’s facility or implemented as an automated WAAM cell at the customer site, supported from application development through commissioning.
You can find the company at Booth 400.
