Electrodes and Nozzles for Plasma Spraying

Hunan Radiance Materials is one of more than 70 specialist exhibitors at ITSC – International Thermal Spray Conference and Exposition 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The company manufactures consumable components for plasma spray systems, focusing on the production of plasma spray electrodes and nozzles. The product range includes electrodes and nozzles manufactured from tungsten-based and copper-based materials, intended for application in atmospheric plasma spraying and related thermal spray technologies.

Manufacturing activities include material preparation, tungsten and copper back casting, precision machining and dimensional inspection. Technical development is mainly directed toward dimensional stability, material consistency and repeatability under industrial operating conditions. Attention is given to material selection and process control to support reproducible performance during plasma spraying. In addition, the company is involved in ongoing evaluation of material behavior and operating parameters for plasma spray components under different spray conditions.

The components are applied in thermal spray processes for functional coatings, including wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and thermal barrier coatings. Typical application fields include aerospace, energy and general industrial manufacturing, where plasma spraying is used as a surface engineering technology. In addition to standard consumables, Hunan Radiance Materials participates in the technical evaluation and development of electrodes and nozzles for specific application requirements in cooperation with customers. The company will participate in ITSC 2026 as an exhibitor and plans to engage in technical exchange with equipment manufacturers, coating specialis and industry partners during the conference.
