GCE Launches New Website

GCE has launched its new Industrial website, a dedicated digital destination that makes it easier for customers to find industrial gas control as well as cutting and welding products. The website features user-centric navigation built around real search behavior.

The new site groups GCE’s offerings into major categories – torches and nozzles, regulators, valves, automated cutting, gas generators, central gas – with pop-up menus that further clarify product categories (e.g., the regulator menu displays options for cylinder regulators, technical grade regulators, propane regulators, flashback arrestors and hoses). After selecting a category, products are ranked in order with the most popular, highest interest and new products appearing at the top of the page. Filters then enable users to specify exact product requirements to narrow choices (e.g., selecting regulators by inlet pressure, gas type, outlet pressure, flow range, product line name, and product type).

“With the launch of gce-industrial.com, customers can find what they want faster because it uses a flatter structure so that products are not buried several layers deep,” says Shaun Heys, Marketing Communications Manager, GCE. “We have modernized our digital presence to showcase our portfolio in a way that meets the needs of how customers search, browse and buy today.” To find a distributor, connect with sales personnel or locate regional offices, clear calls to action guide users from product and application pages directly to contact pages. Those contact pathways are tailored by region, helping users move quickly from product search to the right local GCE resource.

In addition to improved navigation, the site offers richer product pages with updated descriptions, technical data, downloadable product sheets and instructions for use. Visitors can also explore application content across areas such as fabrication, HVAC, shipbuilding, automated cutting and transport. The site is the third of GCE Group’s vertical websites and completes the company’s transition away from its all-in-one GCE Group site to a more focused digital structure for its industrial, medical and specialty gas audiences.
