Push-pull system FreedomDrive replaces rather unwieldy push-pull torches
Aluminium wire and other thin welding wires no longer need to be welded using a heavy, unwieldy push-pull torch. The FreedomDrive intermediate drive from Abicor Binzel ensures reliable wire feeding for demanding welding wires, while allowing you to continue using a standard, easy-to-handle welding torch or even a fume extraction torch.
The FreedomDrive push-pull system does more than significantly reduce physical strain. It also supports personal welding preferences in every application, including rotatable or replaceable torch necks. This means that even hard-to-reach areas can be welded safely without physical effort. Similarly, welding with a fume extraction torch for extraction at source is also possible with this intermediate drive — without intrusive extraction hoses on the torch.
The benefits at a glance:
- A practical, efficient and ergonomic alternative to push-pull torches
- Suitable for cable assemblies up to 10 m in length from the welding machine to the process
- Precise wire feeding with two pre-tensioned driven rollers
- Compatible with standard welding torches — replaceable torch necks also possible
- Suitable for for extraction torches with extraction at source
- Internally routed signal and cooling lines
Every FreedomDrive intermediate drive is supplied with an Abimig welding torch or an xFume extraction torch, complete with a 3-meter cable assembly.
