Is it worth investing in a welding cobot?

German influencer puts it to the test

Welding cobots are taking on more and more tasks – but how good are they really? Igor Welder puts one of them to the test and asks himself whether an investment by his company will bring added value or is more likely to be a bad investment. In this video, Igor tests cobot welding with the iBOTone from Abicor Binzel on various components. Sometimes simple, sometimes complicated. The challenge? Perfect seams, no spatter, maximum efficiency.

What is the iBOTone particularly good at? What tricks help to get the best out of it? Igor shows what is important when programming, what mistakes are often made and why humans and robots work best as a team. His conclusion: Proper use of cobot welding saves time, money and stress.
