The wait is over: The 21st edition of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN opens its doors. This year’s motto is “Join the Future” – a guiding principle that also characterizes the DVS, which has been driving the advancement of more than 250 joining, cutting and surfacing processes for decades. In times when digital and hybrid formats have become everyday practice, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN demonstrates how valuable face-to-face interaction remains. Meeting international innovators in person and engaging in spontaneous discussions creates the unique atmosphere that makes this trade fair so essential.

The 21st edition offers a vital platform for exhibitors and visitors to discover the latest technologies. Digitalization takes center stage – as the theme of the keynote lecture at the DVS CONGRESS and with the introduction of the IF Digital Award, supported by DVS. At the same time, sustainability is becoming an increasingly important focus. Together, these topics show that the industry is ready to meet the challenges of the future – with expertise, passion and a strong sense of community.

The DVS joint stand in Hall 3, Booth 3A23 remains a central meeting point. Here, the DVS Group and its partners present a wide range of opportunities: education and certification concepts, research results, welding simulators and both national and international development perspectives. Supporting the next generation is especially close to our hearts. Universities and schools are invited to explore joining technologies, the “Jugend schweißt” competition celebrates its 30th anniversary with the national finals at the fair and the International Welding Competition will feature participants from 14 countries. New communication channels also play a role: influencers address young people directly with topics such as digitalization, workforce development, cybersecurity and sustainability. For more than 50 years, we have proudly supported SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN as its ideal partner and we warmly invite you to visit the DVS Group stand in Essen.
