Die American Welding Society (AWS), die German Welding Society (DVS) und das International Institute of Welding (IIW) veranstalten am 9. und 10. März 2021 gemeinsam die 6th IEBW – International Electron Beam Welding Conference. Die Konferenz wird online stattfinden.

Die IEBW-Konferenz bringt Wissenschaftler, Ingenieure und technisches Personal aus der ganzen Welt zusammen, die an der Forschung, Entwicklung und Anwendung von Elektronenstrahlschweißverfahren beteiligt sind. Kaum eine Technologie wird seit Jahrzehnten so zuverlässig und reproduzierbar eingesetzt. In Vorträgen und Diskussionen bei der IEBW 2021 werden Trends und Entwicklungen in Elektronenstrahlanwendungen aufgezeigt und gemeinsam weiterentwickelt.
