IIW 2026 Annual Assembly: Early Bird Registration Extended

Due to the current international situation and the difficulties some countries are experiencing in booking flights, the early bird registration deadline has been extended until 31 May. This extension offers a valuable opportunity to secure registration at a special reduced rate. The registration platform for the 79th IIW Annual Assembly and International Conference on Welding and Joining, taking place from July 12 through 17, 2026 in Salzburg, Austria, is now open.

This prestigious event will bring together leading experts, researchers, industry representatives and future leaders from around the world. It will provide a forum to exchange knowledge, discuss the latest technological developments and strengthen international collaboration within the welding and joining community. Those interested are encourage to register as soon as possible to take advantage of the Early Bird rate, valid until 31 May. Early registration not only ensures reduced fees but also guarantees access to the full technical programme, social events and accommodation options before availability is limited.

Very important note: 15th May abstract deadline!!!! The full paper deadline will be established directly by the chairs, who will contact the authors of the accepted papers.
