Summer School: Trends and New Developments in Laser Technology

The Technische Universität Dresden and Fraunhofer IWS are hosting the 15th International Summer School Trends and New Developments in Laser Technology from August 24 through 28, 2026, in Dresden, Germany. This five day workshop aims to bring together undergraduate and PhD students in an intensive study programme on fundamental and applied aspects of laser technology. Event language is English.

The Summer School programme consists of lectures by renowned experts and informal discussion sessions, as well as practical in­sights. The program also offers participants the opportunity to present their own research topics and aims to facilitate the ex­change of new ideas in these areas.

A presentation of the latest research results or new developments in the field of laser technology is welcome. After registration is confirmed, participants who applied to present should submit an abstract until June 12.
