Under the trade fair motto "Precise cutting, perfect welding – complete solutions that connect and inspire," Messer Cutting Systems will be showcasing its combined expertise in modern sheet metal processing at the joint stand with Messer Gases for Life. Whether laser cutting, connected production processes, automated heat applications or climate-friendly cutting solutions using hydrogen – trade visitors can expect a diverse portfolio for productivity and sustainability in manufacturing.

Repeatable bevel parts for weld seam preparation

Particular attention is paid to the Bevel-U bevel cutting head. This unit enables the production of bevel cuts at continuously adjustable angles and with narrow tolerances – even with thick material. In combination with Laser Nozzle Control (LNC), fully automatic nozzle management is achieved, allowing for minimal operator intervention and ensuring maximum efficiency with consistently excellent results.

Oxy-fuel technology with hydrogen

With HyCut, Messer Cutting Systems presents a solution for oxy-fuel cutting, heating and straightening with hydrogen. As a climate-friendly alternative to conventional fuel gas technology, HyCut combines several advantages: reduced CO₂ emissions, minimized pollutant levels in the workplace and high cutting quality with economical process control. Together with Messer Gases for Life Messer Cutting Systems will demonstrate the live application of HyCut with oxy-fuel handheld devices and in conjunction with the ALFA torch on the machine at the trade fair. This will demonstrate the ecological advantages as well as occupational safety and process efficiency.

Element: Versatility, Performance and Flexibility

Element is a modularly configurable flame cutting machine – equipped with oxy-fuel, plasma, marking and drilling technology. Whether bevel cuts with the Bevel-S unit, drilling or oxy-fuel cutting with hydrogen – the Element is a complete solution for metal processing. The machine platform features a modular system that can be individually adapted to a variety of sheet metal processing applications.

New drilling unit

Another feature is the newly developed drilling system for the Element serieswhich allows drilling and threading directly on the machine in a seamless process – without any reclamping or manual rework. Thanks to an intelligent control concept, precise holes are drilled in diameter and depth – suited for downstream production steps. The low-vibration design protects sensitive machine components and extends their service life. The automated tool changer ensures easy operation and significantly reduces setup times. At the same time, work safety is increased because manual intervention is minimized.

Live digitalization demonstrations

Live demonstrations of the combined process of drilling, plasma bevel cutting and marking will be presented at the booth. Trade visitors will experience the entire digital manufacturing process, from rapid quotation calculation with automatic material and time calculation, to nesting and drilling planning, to smart job control with OmniWin and OmniFab. The final step is the production of a complex component.

Griflam heating technology

As a modular system for automated heating processes, Griflam can be tailored to customer-specific requirements and integrated into existing production lines – whether for flame straightening, automated flame hardening or controlled preheating before welding. Through the use of energy-efficient burner technology, digital control solutions and a process-optimized gas supply, users benefit from high reproducibility, process reliability and measurable efficiency increases. The systems are compatible with robot arms, CNC systems, or customized support systems and can be flexibly configured – from stand-alone workstations to networked series production.
