Call for Papers: International Congress and Exhibition on Aluminium Brazing 2027

DVS – Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. (German Welding Society) invites professionals from companies, research institutions and user sectors in the field of aluminium brazing to submit presentation proposals. The International Congress and Exhibition on Aluminium Brazing and Joining will take place on June 29 and 30, 2027 at the Congress Center Düsseldorf, Germany. It will once again be held jointly with the conference "Aluminium Heat Exchanger Technologies for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R)". The conference language is English.

For more than 25 years, this international congress, with its thematic focus on aluminium brazing, has brought together experts from around the world. The English-language event with its industrial exhibition has established itself as the leading platform for international knowledge and technology transfer in the field of aluminium brazing and the manufacture of aluminium heat exchangers.

The international aluminium brazing community will meet to present and discuss current developments, innovative technologies and research findings. The event will open on  the first day with an introductory workshop session on aluminium brazing and joining. Combining the aluminium brazing congress with the HVAC&R conference creates additional synergies and promotes interdisciplinary exchange.

Interested speakers are invited to submit their presentation proposals in the form of abstracts by November 30, 2026. The topics covered by the Call for Papers are:

• Standards and specifications
• HVAC&R and heat exchanger products (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration & heat exchangers)

Accompanying industrial exhibition and supporting programme

In addition to the lecture programme, the accompanying industrial exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of current products, processes and services from companies in the industry. Another established fixture of the congress is the traditional boat trip on the Rhine on the evening of the first day of the event. Participants will have the opportunity to network and make international contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.
