Cobot Welding without Fumes

Anyone welding with cobots should pay the same attention to protection against welding fumes as when welding by hand. Also in automated production people are working in the vicinity of the welding cobot. Even with a complete housing, extraction at the source guarantees the best protection against harmful fumes. All extraction torches of the xFume Abirob series from Abicor Binzel weld with integrated fume extraction at source, are DIN EN ISO 21904-compliant and meet the occupational health and safety requirements for a healthy workplace.

Here you can see an xFume Abirob in combination with an iBOTone welding cobot welding different components. What is particularly interesting is that the proven Abirob robot torch series form the basis of the fume extraction torch. Proven robot torch technology is combined with reliable extraction technology and, in combination with the iBOTone welding cobot, offers the best protection against fumes in cobot and robot welding.
