New office for the Benelux region

Plasmatreat continues to grow and opens a new office for the Benelux region

Plasmatreat GmbH, a leading manufacturer and developer of atmospheric pressure plasma technologies for surface treatment, continues to expand its presence in the Benelux region. With the opening of a new office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, the company strengthens its global sales and service network and offers customers in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands a direct point of contact for technical advice and application development - in modern premises with short travel distances for customers.

Job van Galen is Managing Director of the new subsidiary. Van Galen holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics (2017) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has extensive experience in industry. During his more than eleven years with an international electrical equipment manufacturer, he held various technical and strategic positions and worked with companies in the automotive, medical, semiconductor, consumer goods and energy sectors.

In his new role at Plasmatreat, van Galen will be responsible for technical sales, the development of sustainable relationships and application development with valued customers. Application-related tests and customer trials can be carried out in modern facilities. Companies have the opportunity to test their specific applications directly on Plasmatreat systems and develop individual solutions together with the plasma experts.

Plasmatreat GmbH Managing Director Lukas Buske emphasizes the importance of the new office and Job van Galen's expertise: "With the opening of our subsidiary in Eindhoven, we are further expanding our proximity to customers in the Benelux region. Job van Galen brings not only technical expertise, but also valuable industry experience and a high level of commitment. We are delighted to have recruited him for this important role and are confident that his expertise and customer-focused approach will play a key role in driving our development in the region".

Plasma technology as the key to numerous industrial applications

With the new subsidiary, Plasmatreat aims to support companies in the Benelux region in optimizing their manufacturing processes. Atmospheric-pressure plasma technology makes it possible to precisely modify material surfaces, improve adhesion properties and create environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical pretreatment.   Job van Galen highlights the versatility of the technology: "Surface treatment with plasma, the 4th state of matter, opens up new possibilities for many industries - from automotive and aerospace to medical, electronics, packaging and renewable energy. For example, the targeted treatment of plastics, metals, glass or composites can make bonding, coating and printing processes more efficient, safer and more sustainable. With our new presence in Eindhoven, we can better support customers in the region by optimizing their production processes and developing innovative solutions.

Eindhoven—a strategic location in the Benelux region

The choice of Eindhoven as a location is based on its central location within the Benelux region and the city's technology-oriented infrastructure. Eindhoven is considered one of the leading innovation locations in Europe and offers a dynamic environment for industrial development and research cooperation.   With this expansion, Plasmatreat aims to further intensify cooperation with customers, universities and institutes in the region, accelerate application development and optimize technical support.
