With the world’s leading trade fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, the DVS CONGRESS will also return to Essen in 2023. Once again, there are many reasons to attend: the Annual Welding Conference (GST), the DVS CAMPUS and the conference of underwater technology to name a few.

The DVS CONGRESS will be consistently industry-oriented and continuously expanded with new attractive components. In addition to the Annual Welding Conference (GST) with lectures from operational practice, numerous application-oriented research results from currently completed research projects from the “Forschungsvereinigung Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V.” (Research Association Welding and Allied Processes of the German Welding Society (DVS)). In addition, the conference on underwater technology will feature presentations from operational practice.

Ongoing, DVS is actively dedicated to the promotion of young talent. With the DVS CAMPUS, students in the field of welding and related processes are invited to present the latest results of their bachelor's, master's or diploma theses to the professional world. In return, the professional world gets an ideal overview of the experts of tomorrow.
