Call for Papers: Roboter 2027

The call for papers is now open for the ROBOTER 2027 conference and trade exhibition, taking place on February 16 and 17, 2027, in Hannover, Germany. Experts from industry, crafts, research and development are invited to submit technical papers, presentations and talks focusing on robotics, automation and artificial intelligence in joining technology, and to actively shape the programme. The conference will highlight current developments and practical applications in welding technology. Submissions are welcome on topics such as welding robotics, automated or AI-supported arc welding, additive manufacturing, process digitisation and successful automation solutions for crafts or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The programme will also include a companion exhibition, hands-on formats and live demonstrations.

“For many years, DVS has consolidated activities related to mechanisation, automation and the use of robots in arc welding within a dedicated DVS working group. With ROBOTER 2027, we will showcase concrete implementation possibilities and examples of how welding technology can become more modern and efficient for crafts and SMEs,” explains Philipp Loermann, Technical Advisor at DVS. “We are looking for practice-oriented presentations that demonstrate how AI, robotics and digitisation are being implemented in fully mechanised or automated joining technology.”

The programme commission is responsible for the content design of ROBOTER 2027, ensuring that the technical event covers the most relevant topics in joining, cutting and coating technology. It draws on the findings of five DVS working and expert groups on this subject. For the first time, ROBOTER will be held in Hannover, Germany, at the Deutsche Messe Technology Academy. The event provides a platform for professional exchange between users, technology providers and decision-makers, aiming to present and discuss concrete solutions, best practices, and forward-looking concepts for joining technology manufacturing. The event is in German. English submissions are welcome.

Submissions can be made online only until September 18, 2026
