IIW 2026 Annual Assembly: Registration Open

The registration platform for the 79th IIW Annual Assembly and International Conference on Welding and Joining, taking place from July 12 through 17, 2026 in Salzburg, Austria, is now officially open. This prestigious event will bring together leading experts, researchers, industry representatives and future leaders from all over the world. It will be an exceptional opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss the latest technological developments, and strengthen international collaboration within the welding and joining community.

Early bird rates are available for a limited time. Early registration ensures reduced fees and guarantees access to the full programme, technical sessions, social events and accommodation options before they reach capacity. There is also an  Accompanying Persons’ Programme, which offers exclusive experiences in the beautiful and unique setting of Salzburg.

Very important note: April 30 is the abstract deadline!!!! The full paper deadline will be established directly by the Chairs, who will contact the authors of the accepted papers.
