SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025: Ticket Shop Now Open

The ticket shop for SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 is now live. Trade visitors can secure their admission for the world’s leading trade fair for joining, cutting and surfacing at www.schweissen-schneiden.com. The newly redesigned ticket shop is more user-friendly than ever before – faster, more intuitive and fully optimised for mobile devices. Tickets are also available in a digital wallet format for smartphones. In addition, the official LinkedIn event for SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 is linked to the shop to actively engage the community in the run-up to the fair.

A ticket for SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN grants visitors access not only to the booths of international exhibitors but also to numerous side events, especially in the new Future Hub in Hall 7. Under the motto "Join the Future", everything in this area revolves around digitalisation, automation and sustainability, with a clear focus on networking and knowledge exchange across the industry.

Spotlight on the future of the industry

The new Future Hub features its own stage for panel discussions, product pitches, live welding demonstrations and insightful industry talks. More speakers have now been confirmed. Two particularly pioneering presentations will take place on September 17: Dr. Madlen Borkmann from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology IWS will present a newly developed highly dynamic laser cutting system for complex contours, highlighting the significance of dynamic parameters and their influence on process quality. On the same day, Jacqueline Hertig, Strategic Product Manager Insight Applications and Project Manager at Nederman Filtration, Germany, will explain how smart monitoring systems, IoT technologies and data platforms can drive digital transformation in welding and cutting – for greater safety, efficiency and transparency in connected manufacturing environments.

Audience award for digital solutions

The ticket adds further value in the context of the IF Digital Award, which will be presented for the first time at the event. This new industry prize honours exceptionally innovative digital systems and solutions and will be awarded in bronze, silver and gold categories. Ticket holders automatically receive the right to vote and are entered into a prize draw. Voting can be done on site via the official trade fair app. Nominees include the smart IBEDA Gas Control Unit, Seabery’s AR welding simulator and Novoflow’s digitally controlled air-cooled industrial laser cleaner NF-GTS 500.

The next SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN will take place from Monday, September 15 to Friday, September 19, 2025 at Messe Essen. Opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily (until 4:00 p.m. on Friday). A regular day ticket is 54 euros; school and university students pay 20 euros. Tickets can be purchased online after successful registration as a trade visitor. Vouchers can also be redeemed at the ticket shop.

New this year: Visitors can upload a personal photo when purchasing their ticket – an individualised social card will then be created automatically, e. g. for sharing on social media.
