Products and solutions for security and technological performance

"The media reminds us every day how important security and technological capabilities are," says Andreas Böckling, CSO of the ABICOR GROUP, explaining ABICOR BINZEL’s debut at the EURO DEFENCE EXPO in Essen, Germany. "At this trade fair, we aim to demonstrate how our products and solutions can help innovatively overcome current and future challenges facing the defence industry. At the same time, we look forward to actively shaping the future of the sector together with our customers and partners."

From September 22–25, 2026, visitors to the international defence industry trade fair at the Essen exhibition center (hall 3, booth 3A53.6) can look forward to products and system solutions for the high-quality, efficient and reliable joining of thick metal plates. We are pleased to have recently been given the opportunity, as exhibitors at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2029, to showcase our products at the EURO DEFENCE EXPO on the joint SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN stand.

One key focus is on high-performance fume extraction welding torches and units designed for extraction at the source. Another area of emphasis is manual welding torches featuring exceptionally high-current-carrying capacities and various torch neck lengths for specialized applications. Solutions for demanding narrow-gap welding and cobot-based welding applications demonstrate economic benefits for the relevant industrial sectors.
