Circumferential Seam Milling Machines

“Exhibitors announce”: The company mentioned in this article is an exhibitor at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025.

You will find the company at the fair in Hall 6, Stand 6D23.
SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 [EN]

The circumferential seam milling machines have been made more adaptable and mobile through the optional addition of customer-specific height adapters and an SPMT-compatible substructure. The height adapters enable the machines to accommodate a range of pipe diameters.

For the assembly of cylindrical and conical sections, it is necessary to maintain a constant horizontal center line. Since different diameters result in varying working heights, the specially developed adapters allow the milling machine to be positioned accordingly on each pipe section.

Additionally, a substructure can be installed beneath the machine, making it compatible with a self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT). This setup facilitates rapid positioning and alignment of the milling machine to the circumferential seams of the monopile sections.
