Frimo and Chango Announce Strategic Global Technology Partnership

Frimo Innovative Technologies and Chango Group have entered into a strategic global technology partnership. Frimo has been developing technologies and production solutions for plastics manufacturing since 1962 and is headquartered in Lotte (Germany). Chango Group, founded in 1996 and with headquarters in Guangdong (China), specializes in manufacturing, automation and welding technologies.

The cooperation brings together two established industrial companies with nearly 100 years of combined experience and complementary technological expertise. Together, Frimo and Chango aim to strengthen their international market presence and deliver enhanced value to customers worldwide.

Focus on plastics welding technologies and related manufacturing solutions

The partnership will initially focus on plastics welding technologies and related manufacturing solutions across a wide range of applications and industries. By combining Frimo's cross-industry application know how, engineering expertise and global market presence with Chango’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, automation expertise and technological innovation strength, both companies intend to create a powerful platform to drive future growth.

“Our customers increasingly expect highly flexible, tailor-made and scalable solutions, that combine efficiency and sustainability with long-term competitiveness on a global level”, stated Hans-Günter Bayer, CEO of Frimo. “By combining the strengths of our organizations, we are creating new opportunities to serve international markets even more effectively, while maintaining the high quality and engineering excellence for which Frimo is recognized.”

Strengthening international presence

For Chango, the cooperation represents another important step in strengthening its international presence and expanding network with industrial companies worldwide. Both companies view the agreement as the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship. Additional opportunities for cooperation in related technologies and industrial applications are already being evaluated, including a potential future investment by Chango as part of the long-term strategic direction.

“This partnership is built on mutual respect, complementary strengths and a shared vision for the future,” said Alex Jiang, Chairman and CEO of Chango Group. “Frimo and Chango each have a long history of technological innovation and industrial excellence. By combining Frimo’s heritage dating back to 1962 with Chango’s development since 1996, we are creating a strong foundation for future growth, innovation, and value creation for customers worldwide.”
