Peiseler is expanding its product portfolio into additional application areas and will showcase several examples. At AMB 2026, the company will present further developments of its swivel units and positioners for applications in the aerospace and optical industries.
Peiseler manufactures workpiece positioners, rotary tables, two-axis swivel units, swivel heads and workpiece changing tables. Among the exhibits in Stuttgart will be modified versions of the ZAS 250 two-axis unit and the AWD 160 positioner, which have been adapted to specific machining requirements.
ZAS 250 for Turbine Manufacturing
The machining of engine and turbine components made from high-temperature alloys or featuring complex geometries places particular demands on precision, surface quality and process reliability. Turbine components are used not only in aerospace applications but also in the energy sector. To address these requirements, the company has further developed its ZAS 250 two-axis solution, which is integrated into a grinding machine. According to the company, the axis arrangement and geometry have been adapted to improve accessibility when machining complex component geometries and to accommodate different workpiece shapes.
Another focus during development was the integration of sensors and actuators throughout the grinding process. These components enable continouis monitoring and active control of the material removal process and are intended to support process reliability during turbine component manufacturing.
AWD 160 Positioner for the Optical Industry
To adress applications in the optical industry, Peiseler modified its AWD 160 positioner. One of the development objectives was to integrate the unit into the compact installation spaces typically found in ophthalmic lens machining equipment.
Therefore the company chose the materials of the rotary axis specifically to withstand the operating conditions of these applications. Coolants and lubricants, polishing suspensions and extremely fine plastic debris place machine components under continuous stress. Peiseler states that he redesign is intended to increase the unit's resistance to these influences over its service life which causes a reduced downtime.
ATC Series for a Wide Range of Applications
The company will present the ATC at the AMB. The NC indexing units and rotary-tilting tables can be installed in horizontal and vertical orientations and are suitable for machine upgrades, retrofits and refurbishment projects. A redesigned drivetrain provides increased power density and visitors of the fair will be able to expierence the new changes the company implemented.
Peiseler will exhibit at AMB 2026 at booth 10B86 in Hall 10.
