ESAB stand at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN showcases full portfolio

ESAB stand at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN showcases full portfolio for welding, cutting and fabrication optimisation

ESAB® will feature static and live demonstrations of its full portfolio of manual and automated welding and cutting equipment, filler metals, PPE and software applications in stand 6A13 in Hall 6 at Schweissen & Schneiden, held 11 - 15 September in Essen, Germany. Fabricators, manufacturers and metal workers in every industry segment will find solutions that improve their operations. With dozens of new products and technologies launched recently, stand highlights include these new products:

  • Rustler™ EM 350C PRO Synergic, an integrated MIG welder/wire feeder that provides a 350 amp output and adds the benefits of synergic control.
  • Renegade™ ET 210iP Advanced, a pulsed TIG/MMA inverter featuring a 110 mm-wide color TFT (thin film transistor) operator interface that is as advanced as its arc welding performance.
  • Renegade VOLT™ battery-powered MMA/TIG welder, which redefines portability for mobile fabrication and repair.
  • Rogue™ EM (ESAB MIG) and Rogue EMP (ESAB Multi-Process) compact welders combine performance, power and affordability to meet the diverse needs of professionals, hobbyists and first-time welders.
  • Next-generation Warrior® Edge 500 multi-process pulsing power source and RobustFeed Edge wire feeder. Warrior Edge can detect and react to arc behaviour up to 10 times faster than traditional inverter machines.
  • ESAB Cobot, which gives small- and medium-sized fabricators the freedom to automate high-mix applications because it uses an intuitive software app that runs on a standard smart phone or tablet.
  • Made-in-Europe MIG aluminium wires.

“Visitors to the ESAB stand will see that our new products reflect the voice of our customers and their request for solutions that improve productivity and quality while addressing the chronic shortage of skilled workers,” says Olivier Biebuyck, President, Fabrication Technology, ESAB Corporation. “For example, look at the design of our new operator interfaces. They use digital displays, quick buttons and synergic controls that simplify set up, yet incorporate advanced functionality and performance not found in legacy machines. ESAB equipment makes it easier to weld or cut with optimised performance for more accurate and consistent work.”

All ESAB power sources feature state-of-the-art power inverter designs that meet EU Ecodesign Directives. They improve energy efficiency, lower utility bills and offer lighter weight for more portability and maneuverability around a facility or job site.

More Stand Highlights

The ESAB stand will feature displays, demonstrations and have ESAB experts on hand to discuss:

  • ESAB’s “Ultimate Line-Up” of systems for industrial and light industrial applications, which feature the Rustler, Rogue, Renegade and the Renegade VOLT ES 200i battery-powered welder and the ESAB Cutmaster® manual plasma cutter series.
  • New personal protective equipment includes the new Sentinel™ A60 automatic welding helmet, the lightweight SWARM A20 welding helmet and the new EPR-X1 PAPR.
  • Heavy industrial systems featuring the new Warrior Edge power source and RobustFeed Edge wire feeder. The WarriorEdge system has built-in connectivity and comes with a subscription to the InduSuite WeldCloud Fleet online software application.
  • The Red Dot award-winning RobustFeed wire feeder series, which is now available in five different models. Its PreciDrive wire drive system delivers superoior arc starts and stops, and a completely sealed wire feed compartment protects the internal components and the wire against contaminants.

  • The new Exeor torch features a slim, balanced lightweight design with a soft grip area. Remote function buttons on the top of the torch enable adjustments without an additional cable or returning to the feeder.
  • An industry-leading portfolio of integrated automated systems and welding tractors for mechanised welding. Highlights include the CaB 460 (column and boom) paired with a ESAB’s new adaptive welding system for SAW. This technology can read the bevel up to 150 mm deep, can automatically plans how to position/place the weld beads in relation to each other to completely fill the bevel and autonomously plan, execute and compensate for deviations in gap, angle and misalignment. The ESAB adaptive system especially benefits SAW of monopiles, transition pieces, wind towers and pressure vessels.
  • The Combirex Pro, an enhanced version of its best-selling cutting machine with improved dynamic accuracy, speed and durability. The Combirex Pro enables users to cut a 3m-wide plate, even if the machine is equipped with a DMX Beveler and a water table.
  • The next-generation Vision T6™ CNC controller features a multi-touch, high-definition panel with such functions as swipe-to-zoom, drag-and-drop and easy access to a full range of features. ESAB’s SmartCycle 2.0 technology, which reduces cost per part, includes enhancements to several different software systems that shorten cycle times, increase machine motion efficiency and thus improve overall plasma cutting productivity.
  • ESAB’s iSeries high-precision plasma power sources, which can be connected to double cutting output to 400, 600 or 800 amps.

ESAB – A Growing Family of Brands

ESAB is continuously expanding its product portfolio and family of brands to better serve customers. Brands in the ESAB stand at Schweissen & Schneiden include:
