Prima Power Ackquires Sistec AM

Prima Power, a global provider in sheet metal working manufacturing solutions, recently acquired long-time robotics partner Sistec AM, leveling up the company’s know-how in technology integration to further reinforce a customer-focused offer. Sheet metal manufacturers can now realize their potential through full optimization of robotic cells and a wide range of modular solutions for automated systems. 

Prima Power takes a new step forward towards full automation – the latest move in the Evolve by integration strategy. The acquisition of robotics specialist and established partner Sistec AM, with its specialized expertise, bolsters the integration of all of Prima Power’s solutions. The presence of a new internal Robotics Integration Unit unlocks the combination opportunities of the comprehensive range of sheet metal technologies, from robotic cells to Flexible Manufacturing Systems streamlining the whole production flow. 

In a production world that has long been struggling with a labor shortage, robotic technologies are rapidly turning into commodities: the future is not in robotics per se, but in the quality and extent of robotics integration. In this scenario, Prima Power is set to make the life of manufacturers easier. Prima Power’s Robotic Bending Cells are designed to transform sheet metal fabrication by integrating robotics with servo-electric press brakes and panel benders.
